Project details
In “Transe” for the São Paulo City Ballet, we are taken on a hybrid journey, man versus animal, set in an apocalyptic atmosphere, celebrating life in a possible post-pandemic world, and we wonder: Could a utopian world be possible, where we could celebrate life solely through dance and music, in a kind of endless party? Daydreams. Pulse. Vibration. Movement. Trance is a utopia metaphorized in a made-up fable. A futuristic ritual of collective ecstasy; a sensory dive closer to the dimension of the sensible than the intellectual.
