In the performance PIRARUCU, Clébio Oliveira’s new production with five Brazilian dancers premieres 12th of March 2026.
Starting from lived experiences of migration, the piece explores belonging, memory and bodies existing between different worlds. Inspired by the Amazonian fish pirarucu, which breathes air while living underwater, the performance reflects on the breath that must reorganise itself in a new environment.
